Writer's picture: Maria AndretchMaria Andretch

You can use smart home technology to keep your children safe at home.

But, what are other ways to keep your children safe at home at this time of pandemic?

You can avoid your babies and toddlers getting sick by avoiding huge crowds and keeping a safe 6ft distance from nearby people you see outside the house.

Second, avoid people who are sick. Children can easily get infected so better to stay away from people who are sick.

Third, wash your hands well and always. Suggest to your loved ones to do the same. Always wash your hands when you go outside and arrive at your home, before you touch your children, and before breastfeeding or preparing a bottle for your child.

Fourth, clean surfaces that people touch a lot such as doorknobs and cellphones.

Fifth, try not to touch your face or your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Sixth, Sneeze or cough into a tissue or your elbow. We don't suggest coughing at your hands.

Seventh, Always wear masks when you are outside and at home if you are sick. We suggest limiting your contact with your child if you are sick or waiting until your symptoms have stopped.

Eighth, you should place a blanket over your child's carrier if you take your kid outside. Make sure that your blanket doesn't touch your baby. Wipe the carrier after use.
